Tracey Dewrell E-mail: Tracey

Tracey Dewrell graduated in the top of his class from the University of West Florida (Pensacola, FL) in 1994 and St. Thomas University School of Law (Miami, FL) in 1998. Upon graduation from law school, Tracey worked as an Associate attorney for Hightower & Rudd (Miami, FL) until September 1999, when he joined Zurich North America. As a trial attorney for Zurich, Tracey handled a wide range of commercial litigation cases and received numerous trial verdicts.

In January 2001, Tracey left Zurich to form Dewrell & Sacks, LLP. As a partner with Dewrell Sacks, Tracey has supervised the closing of over $20 billion in residential & commercial real estate transactions and successfully resolved many high profile, complex real estate and commercial litigation cases. As a managing partner for Dewrell Sacks, Tracey has concentrated on capturing market share in the Southeast United States real estate and financial services industry. Tracey is also the Chairman & CEO of U.S. Title Insurance Corp., a national provider of title insurance and escrow services.

Tracey is a regular speaker at the Southeastern Mortgage Brokers Conference. He is the author of the Federal Bar Review of Florida (1998-2008) and the Georgia Foreclosure Investors Report, a statewide publication of mortgage foreclosures with investment analysis maintaining over 1800 monthly subscribers.

Tracey is currently admitted to practice before all Georgia and Florida State Courts, the United States District Courts for the Northern, Middle and Southern Districts of Georgia and Florida, the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit and the United States Supreme Court. Tracey is a registered arbitrator with the Supreme Court of Georgia. Tracey is a member of numerous sections of the Georgia and Florida Bars.

Mara Sacks E-mail: Mara

Mara Sacks graduated from the University of Georgia (Athens, GA) in 1996 and St. Thomas University School of Law (Miami, FL) in 1999. While attending law school, Mara interned with Justice Rosemary Barkett, of the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals. Upon graduation from law school, Mara worked for several Atlanta real estate law firms, closing transactions for major lenders and litigating numerous real estate and commercial disputes. In January 2001, Mara formed Dewrell & Sacks, LLP.

As a partner for Dewrell Sacks, Mara has extensive experience handling many aspects of real property. Mara has represented buyers, sellers, developers, lenders, title insurance companies, landlords, tenants, real estate brokers and agents. She has extensive experience assisting clients in negotiating and drafting contracts, leases, and other documents, closings, analyzing title issues, lending, foreclosing, evicting, and filing lawsuits to enforce contracts, clear title problems, and resolve boundary disputes. Mara has a widely recognized and respected reputation in the legal community. She is consistently known for working together, with the client, to achieve the smoothest transaction possible. Mara is an experienced lawyer who takes responsibilities seriously, knowing that the results she achieves for her clients will have lasting impact on their lives.

Mara is the CEO of Staff Counsel, an Atlanta based legal recruiting agency. Mara co-edited the exclusive Bar Review Course for Attorney's seeking to gain admission into the Federal Courts in Florida, "The Federal Bar Review." Mara is a member of the Georgia Bar as well as the Young Lawyers section of the Georgia Bar, the American Bar Association, the Real Property Division of the Georgia Bar and the Georgia Association of Realtors.
